Senior/Accountant

We are seeking a hands-on and experienced Senior Accounts professional to lead daily finance operations, support ERP system migration, and guide the accounts team to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting. The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting skills, leadership experience, and prior exposure to ERP systems, preferably Synergix.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle full set of accounts and ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.
• Prepare monthly management accounts financial reports.
• Verify monthly payroll for accuracy before processing.
• Submit statutory contributions and government claims, including CPF, childcare, maternity and paternity claims.
• Prepare and submit GST returns in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor the accounts of the headquarters and review the financial records related entities.
• Lead, mentor and guide junior Accounts staffs in their daily operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and compliance with company policies.
• Review the work of junior Accounts staff and provide coaching to support their development.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers and government authorities.
• Support budgeting, cash flow management and financial analysis.
• Lead and support ERP implementation, system migration and process improvement projects, including user acceptance testing (UAT), data validation and post-go-live support.
• Review and improve accounting process and internal controls.
• Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Knowledge of Singapore accounting standards, IRAS corporate tax and GST regulations, CPF requirements and statutory compliance.
• Experience in payroll verification and statutory submissions.
• Experience leading or mentoring junior Accounts staff.
• Experience in ERP implementation or migration projects will be an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous, organized and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
