Relationship Manager - Corporate Banking

Position Overview

Our client is an established banking institution in Singapore renowned for specialized trade solutions, and deep domain expertise in global trade.

We are seeking a mid-to-senior Relationship Manager (min 7 years of experience) to manage and expand corporate client portfolios especially in structured trade, and ensure compliance while driving revenue growth within the commodities sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Portfolio & Client Acquisition: Manage and grow the bank’s corporate client portfolio; acquire new clients by evaluating financial profiles and structuring bespoke trade/credit facilities.

• Credit & Risk Assessment: Perform credit assessments, cash flow projections, and collateral evaluations; prepare detailed credit reports to mitigate risks effectively.

• Compliance & Due Diligence: Conduct thorough KYC, AML, and transactional checks to ensure full adherence to regulatory and internal policies.

• Client Management & Collaboration: Resolve client queries promptly to maintain high satisfaction; collaborate with local and overseas internal teams to align with business goals.

• Strategic Execution: Handle additional projects or tasks assigned by the Head of Department or management.

Preferred Competencies & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Accounting, Banking, Finance, Economics, or related fields.

• Experience: Minimum 7 years of corporate banking experience with strong trade finance knowledge.

• Skills: Strong credit writing, analytical capabilities, and excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

• Mindset: Proactive, energetic, results-driven, and commercially astute.
