Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Consultant with experience in Project Management to join the Wealth Management technology transformation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of projects and programmes, including planning, budgeting, governance, stakeholder management, release management and coordination across Business, Product, Technology, Security, Architecture and Compliance teams.

The role requires strong experience in Regulatory and Tax Reporting, preferably within Wealth Management / Private Banking environments, together with proven expertise in project planning, budgeting, requirements management, testing, vendor management and senior stakeholder engagement.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Take end-to-end responsibility for achieving programme/project objectives in line with business commitments, scope, budget and timelines.
  • Facilitate project governance forums and committees, working closely with project teams to manage deliverables, prioritisation, estimations and planning.
  • Prepare, consolidate and validate project estimates, resource plans, schedules and delivery milestones throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage project costs and budgets, monitor financial performance and proactively address any potential cost overruns.
  • Plan project resources and capacity based on delivery requirements and priorities.
  • Conduct walkthroughs of GFS documentation with Business Analysts to support translation into detailed functional specifications.
  • Work closely with Business Analysts and application squads on complex features involving multiple systems, applications and interfaces.
  • Collaborate with BA and Testing teams to review SIT strategy, test cases and test results and ensure quality of delivery.
  • Manage vendors and external partners, including maintenance costs, budgets, commercial proposals and service commitments.
  • Ensure alignment of project tasks, commitments, releases and functionalities with the overall product roadmap.

Job Requirement:

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business, Finance or a related field.
  • 10–12 years of experience in IT Project Management, preferably within Banking, Financial Services or Wealth Management. Overall experience not more than 20 years
  • Must have strong experience managing Regulatory and/or Tax Reporting projects, preferably involving multiple applications, systems and business stakeholders.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas is Mandatory :- Tax Regulatory Reporting, German Tax Reporting, Client Tax Statement Reporting, AEOI / CRS, FATCA, IRS 871(m) , Performance Reporting
  • Good understanding of Regulatory and Tax Reporting processes within Wealth Management / Private Banking.
  • Knowledge of financial transactions, particularly Securities and Corporate Actions, will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of market data providers such as SIX, WM Daten or similar providers.
  • Exposure to reporting platforms/applications such as SECTRAS, EasyTax, FiTax or equivalent solutions.
  • Basic knowledge of Core Banking systems, such as Olympic, TRANSACT and Corporate Actions systems.
  • Basic knowledge of Front Office applications, including AAA ordering tools and Client Management systems.
