Senior Consultant

Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Consultant with experience in Business Analysis to join the Wealth Management transformation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business analysis activities across a multi-year transformation program, The role requires strong expertise in Finance, Credit Risk, Regulatory Reporting and Core Banking, together with proven experience in business requirements analysis, impact/gap analysis, functional specification, data mapping, UAT and stakeholder management.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Organize and facilitate workshops with relevant business and technology stakeholders to understand, challenge and assess business requirements.
• Work closely with Group & Local Finance teams, Finance Head Office in Europe, Product Owners and Local Regulatory teams to finalize requirements for the new Core Banking and Credit systems.
• Perform detailed studies with Finance teams, System SMEs, vendors and consulting teams to identify business, functional and system gaps.
• Drive and coordinate application impact analysis and gap analysis following business workshops.
• Define and validate functional requirements, data mappings, business rules and required system adaptations.
• Ensure functional mappings and data flows comply with both Group and Local regulatory and business expectations.
• Document detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications and functional designs, ensuring clarity and completeness.
• Build, manage and maintain the requirements and transformation backlog, tracking adaptations, enhancements and deliverables through to closure.
• Support and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, execution, defect management and business validation.
• Identify project bottlenecks, dependencies and potential risks, and recommend appropriate solutions and improvements.
• Participate throughout the complete development lifecycle, from Elaboration → Build → Transition → Production.

Job Requirement:

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 10 - 14 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within Banking or Financial Services. Over all experience not more than 18 years
• Demonstrable experience working in Wealth Management / Private Banking environments.
• Must have experience of Credit Risk Reporting, including Limits, Collateral Management and Counterparty Risk.
• Must have experience of Local and Group Regulatory Reporting, with exposure to Basel IV and site-specific regulatory requirements.
• Strong understanding of accounting movements, General Ledger (GL) and accounting scheme setup.
• Good knowledge of Liquidity Management is required.
• Strong understanding of Core Banking, including Loan and Deposit lifecycle.
• Required to have strong understanding of the Credit lifecycle and IFRS 9 reporting / implementation lifecycle.
• Strong Business Analysis experience covering impact analysis, gap analysis, requirements elicitation, process analysis, data mapping and functional analysis.
• Proven ability to produce detailed, well-structured Functional Specifications with clear functional requirements and business rules.
• Experience working across the full IT project lifecycle, including requirements analysis, workshops, functional documentation, development, testing, UAT, implementation and production transition.
• Strong understanding of banking products and their lifecycle, including Loans, Deposits, Foreign Exchange, Derivatives, Limits, Guarantees and Securities is mandatory
• Strong understanding of information flows and interactions between different business functions within a bank or financial institution.
