QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and revise drawings in a timely manner for tenders and job orders.
2. Prepare and analyze costings for tenders.
3. Analyze outcomes and prepare detailed progress reports.
4. Obtain quotations, liaise and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers.
5. Coordinate with the sales team, production team, and clients on job orders and design specifications.
6. Survey site conditions and assess the cost and method requirements for installation, delivery, and set-up, where necessary.
7. Conduct quality control to ensure finished products are constructed according to job orders and drawings.
8. Be organized and responsible for the proper safekeeping of all files and drawings.
9. Provide support to production, procurement, and logistics team members.
10. Be responsible for tender preparation and submission within the required deadlines.
11. Perform all other QS-related duties.
12. Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned by the employer.

Requirement:

1. Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in Construction sector is preferrable.
2. Competency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 2D & 3D drawings.
3. Organized, self-driven, and a team player with good interpersonal skills.
4. Proficient in MS Office.
5. Knowledge of the laws and regulations governing building construction.
6. Possess skills in reading and interpreting plans and specifications.
7. Possess skills in accurate measurement, tender preparation, calculation, pricing, and quotation.
8. Understand the relevant standard forms of building contracts.
9. Possess good written communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Relevant qualification: Degree / Diploma / Certificate in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
11. Possess a good and positive working attitude.
