Job Description

• Position Title: Quantity Surveyor (Tender & Contracts)
• Working Location: Ubi
• Working Hours: 5 days (Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary + Allowances + VB + Medical Benefits
• Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Prepare accurate quantity take-offs, cost estimates, BOQ, and complete tender documents within the required deadlines.
• Review project costs, recommend value engineering solutions, and prepare tender pricing and budgets.
• Source, compare, and negotiate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Maintain an updated vendor database.
• Assess project risks and opportunities during the tender stage.
• Handle variation orders (VO), progress claims, and final accounts when required.
• Serve as the main contact for clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Follow up with existing clients on new projects and business opportunities.
• Support the smooth handover of awarded projects to the internal execution team and work closely with relevant stakeholders.
• Report to the Contract Manager and assist with cost reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• At least 2 years of practical experience in tendering, estimation, or quantity surveying within the construction or civil engineering industry.
• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Good knowledge of tendering, costing, contract administration, construction methods, materials, and market pricing, with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership, clear communication, and problem-solving skills to manage project requirements effectively.
