Assistant Relationship Manager — Private Banking, NRI
About this job
Our client, a leading private bank, is looking to appoint an Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) to support its Non-Resident Indian (NRI) client segment in Singapore.
The role will work closely with Relationship Managers in managing high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients, supporting client servicing, account management and the execution of investment and banking solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Relationship Managers in managing and servicing a portfolio of NRI high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
- Act as a key point of contact for day-to-day client servicing and account-related matters.
- Assist with client onboarding, account opening, KYC and documentation requirements.
- Prepare client reviews, portfolio reports, meeting materials and investment-related presentations.
- Coordinate with internal teams including Investment Advisory, Product, Credit, Operations, Compliance and Legal to facilitate client requests.
- Assist Relationship Managers with investment transactions and the implementation of wealth management solutions.
- Monitor client portfolios, transactions and documentation to ensure timely follow-up.
- Identify opportunities to deepen existing client relationships and support cross-selling of relevant banking and investment products.
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure all activities comply with the bank's internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support Relationship Managers in developing and maintaining strong relationships with NRI clients and their families.
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related discipline.
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in Private Banking, Wealth Management or a similar client servicing role.
- Experience supporting NRI clients would be highly advantageous.
- Good understanding of private banking products, investments and wealth management solutions.
- Strong client servicing and relationship management skills.
- Excellent organisational skills, with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client requirements.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
