Finance Automation / RPA Engineer
About this job
We are looking for a hands-on Finance Automation / RPA Engineer to identify, design, build, and implement automation solutions across finance-related processes. The role will work closely with Finance teams to streamline manual workflows, improve data accuracy, integrate financial systems, and drive continuous process improvement through automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Map and analyse existing finance workflows, including processes such as AUA, Gross Revenue, Fees Payable, and related financial operations.
- Identify manual bottlenecks, repetitive tasks, and opportunities for automation.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy automation scripts, RPA bots, and data pipelines.
- Build automation solutions using Python, scripting languages, and available RPA/automation tools.
- Integrate automation solutions with GROW, Oracle, and other finance-related systems.
- Work closely with Finance stakeholders to understand process requirements and translate them into automation solutions.
- Plan and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new automation initiatives.
- Establish and maintain technical governance, documentation, controls, and data-security standards for automation solutions.
- Monitor automation performance and resolve issues to ensure stable and reliable operations.
- Develop dashboards and automated reporting solutions to improve finance visibility and decision-making.
- Train Finance teams on the use of automated dashboards, tools, and new workflows.
- Support a culture of continuous process improvement by identifying further automation opportunities.
- Maintain process documentation, solution designs, SOPs, and technical specifications.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience in Automation / Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
- Good hands-on experience with Python and script writing.
- Proven experience automating Finance or Finance-related processes.
- Experience working closely with Finance teams and business stakeholders.
- Ability to analyse finance workflows and identify opportunities for process automation.
- Experience developing automation scripts, bots, workflows, or data pipelines.
- Experience with system integration, preferably involving Oracle or other financial systems.
- Good understanding of UAT, testing, technical governance, and data-security requirements.
- Strong process-mapping, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Good stakeholder-management and communication skills.
- Ability to document technical and business processes clearly.
- Experience with dashboards, reporting automation, or data visualisation is advantageous.
Preferred / Advantageous Skills
- Experience with Oracle Financial systems
- Experience with RPA platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Power Automate, or similar tools
