Energy Sustainability Engineer Intern

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Operating system efficiency (OSE) report preparation.

• Documentation of the chiller system optimization design.

• Identify, design, and propose energy conservative measures (ECM) on the chilled water system which include:

• Instrumentations selection and design on the measurements and verifications (M&V) system (temperature sensors, flow meters, pressure sensors, weather stations, power meters)

• Centrifugal water pumps energy optimizations strategy

• Chillers energy optimizations strategy

• Cooling tower energy optimizations strategy

• Heat balance substantiating test

Learning Outcomes and Objectives:

• Gain in-depth knowledge on HVAC (chillers, pumps, cooling towers, air handling units).

• Gain understanding on how to prepare Operating System Efficiency (OSE) reports.

• Learn documentation of the chiller system optimization design.

• Gain understanding of a variety of energy conservative measures (ECM) on the chilled water system and how to identify, design, and propose them.
