This role supports the Life Support Training Centre by coordinating life support and other training programmes, including course administration, training logistics, secretariat duties, and related administrative functions.
The role also assists the Director and exempt staff in supporting the operations of the Life Support Training Centre and the Education Development Office, helping to maintain an effective operational environment and deliver high-quality life support and other training programmes.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(A) SPECIFIC
1. Coordinate the day-to-day administrative functions for life support and other training programmes.
2. Plan, coordinate, and facilitate life support programmes for healthcare workers who require mandatory certification.
3. Plan, coordinate, and facilitate other courses offered by the Life Support Training Unit for healthcare workers.
4. Assist in monitoring key performance indicators and optimising the utilisation of available resources.
5. Ensure the efficient delivery of services in alignment with the organisation’s strategic plans.
6. Assist in developing and maintaining life support e-learning modules, including learning materials and assessments.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of healthcare workers’ mandatory life support certifications for tracking and monitoring purposes.
8. Provide secretariat and administrative support for meetings and committees.
9. Support the upkeep and maintenance of training equipment and resources.
10. Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by exempt staff.
(B) GENERAL
1. Assist in monitoring and coordinating the Life Support Training Unit’s budget and expenditure.
2. Participate in organisational committees and special projects that support the needs of staff, patients, and the community.
3. Compile and submit monthly, quarterly, and half-yearly life support training statistics and qualification reports to relevant stakeholders.
4. Undertake additional duties and projects as assigned by the supervisor.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
1. Possess a diploma or an equivalent qualification.
2. At least two to three years of relevant work experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
