We are seeking a passionate and skilled Manager, Memberships to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a pivotal role in enhancing Caritas Singapore’s presence, reputation, and impact through strategic public relations, communication, and marketing initiatives.
Reporting to the Executive Director, your main role and responsibilities are:
1. Lead in planning and implementing strategies to foster strong relationships with:
a. member organizations in the Caritas Singapore Family
b. other partners in the social service ecosystem.
2. Oversee the planning and implementation of programmes and events that foster greater collaboration and networking across various stakeholders (with emphasis on member organizations in the Caritas Singapore Family).
3. Lead a small team to work with potential and existing member organizations in the Caritas Singapore Family on all matters relating to Membership in Caritas, including, but not limited to processing and evaluating membership application and status for affiliations and associates.
4. Build a strong Membership Team to closely engage and manage relationships with member organizations in the Caritas Singapore Family and other partners in the social service ecosystem.
5. Provide secretariat support to the Caritas Singapore Membership Committee.
6. Provide support on other projects/tasks as assigned by the Executive Director, Caritas Singapore.
Requirements:
At least a Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Social Work, Business or Communications Studies) with these qualities:
Strategic thinking with hands-on experience planning and executing programmes and events
Have strong writing skills and an eye for attention to detail.
Experience in managing teams
4 - 5 years of experience in the social sector as an employee would be beneficial.
Experience in community development and community building would be advantageous.
