Retail Sales Associate (Full / Part Time)

Job Purpose

As a Retail Sales Associate at BUZUD, you are the face of our medical technology showroom. You provide a warm, consultative sales experience—guiding consumers, elderly users, and caregivers through smart health monitoring equipment, conducting live product demonstrations, and driving store targets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Consultative Sales & Product Demonstrations

• Customer Consultation: Greet walk-in visitors, assess their personal health goals, and recommend suitable home-medical or wellness solutions.

• Live Demonstrations: Conduct hands-on demonstrations of smart devices (e.g., Continuous Glucose Monitors [CGM], ECG smart rings, oxygen concentrators, blood pressure monitors).

• Target Achievement: Meet and exceed individual and showroom sales KPIs through proactive upselling and cross-selling of health accessories and consumables.

2. Customer Support & Tech Setup

• Assist customers with app onboarding (pairing devices with iOS/Android apps), hardware calibration, and basic troubleshooting.

• Explain health metrics and device maintenance clearly and patiently, especially to elderly clients.

• Handle after-sales services including warranty registration, product exchanges, and equipment rental coordination.

3. Showroom Operations & Visual Merchandising

• Maintain clean visual merchandising standards and an immaculate store environment.

• Ensure all interactive display and demonstration units are clean, fully charged, and functional.

• Process daily POS transactions accurately (cash and digital payments).

4. Inventory Management

• Monitor sales floor inventory and manage stock replenishment from the stockroom.

• Participate in regular stock counts, inventory audits, and report damage or discrepancies.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education

GCE 'O' Level, NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in any field.

Experience

1–3 years of experience in retail sales, hospitality, or customer service. Experience in consumer electronics, medical tech, or health/beauty retail is an advantage.

Tech Savviness

Comfortable operating smart device hardware and mobile health apps, with the ability to teach non-technical users.
