Operations Technician

• Configure, install, test and commission new machines.
• Perform calibration and configuration on existing machine.
• Monitor machine running performance & device improvement planning.
• Facilitate regular equipment maintenance to keep machines in working order and minimize downtime.
• Write reports to document work done on the machines.
• Apply adhesives, lubricants or other materials to machine as well as other equipment in accordance with procedures.
• Ensure proper safety and procedure related to the machines.
• Provide field service training to internal users and customers.
• Maintain database of internal and external product test data.
• Ensure world class customer service is achieved.
• Ensure compliance with Vallen’s policies and procedures.

Driver

• Ensure daily delivery is accurate and timely.
• Check and ensure that all deliveries are in good condition with correct items and quantity.
• Upon delivery, submit proof of delivery (POD) to the personnel in charge.
• Accurately top up items into vending machines at customer sites.
• Maintain good housekeeping of the storage and company vehicles.

Key Qualifications

• Class 3 or 4 driving license
• Certificate in Mechanical or Electrical Electronics Engineering or other related disciplines
• Experience in machine services
• Responsible, self-disciplined
• Ability to work in a team
• Organised
• Forklift or scissor lift certificates
