Overall Purpose of the role
Join a premier Randstad client as a member of the Trading Markets team within a leading global Foreign Exchange firm known for award-winning e-trading solutions, deep liquidity, and world-class technology. In this role, you will support market-making activities in Foreign Exchange options and assist in servicing a diverse portfolio of institutional clients, including money managers, banks, insurance companies, pension funds, and corporates. This position focuses on supporting pricing processes, trade execution workflows, client relationship management, and effective risk controls in a dynamic market environment.
Key Accountabilities
Support market-making processes for Foreign Exchange Options.
Support the monitoring and management of market risk arising from client flows and market events.
Actively focus on clients and manage strong professional relationships to ensure quality service delivery.
Stakeholder Management and Leadership
Build and maintain strong professional relationships with internal sales desks, cross-functional partners, and external institutional clients.
Liaise regularly with Compliance, Legal, and Risk functions to maintain strict alignment with firm policies and industry regulations.
Apply quantitative analytical skills to solve execution and portfolio challenges to optimize performance.
Decision-making and Problem Solving
Identify high-risk market scenarios and formulate effective solutions aligned with broader trading strategies and risk parameters.
Participate actively in developing or enhancing existing trading systems and operational processes.
Risk and Control Objective
Ensure all trading activities strictly comply with governance guidelines, capital management policies, regulatory requirements, and risk limits.
Maintain a proactive focus on risk and controls, ensuring potential operational, market, or compliance risks are promptly identified, reported, and mitigated.
Essential Qualifications
Practical experience in financial trading, specifically within Foreign Exchange or Foreign Exchange Options markets.
Proven ability to assess and manage risk, analyze trading positions, and navigate volatile market events.
Relevant qualification in a quantitative or financial field, or equivalent industry experience.
Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
