Job Description – Business Detective Controls Analyst

Corporate Title Range: Analyst

Contract duration: 12 Months Contract

Location: Singapore (Changi Business Park / CapitaSpring)

My client is a global wealth management leader that delivers personalized financial solutions integrating investment management, capital markets, trust and banking to ultra-high net worth and high net worth individuals and families in 36 countries. Business Control Management Detective Controls Team is responsible for performing the first-line-of-defense control activities that are crucial to ensure the Bank’s regulatory compliance from selling practice and suitability perspective.

Key Responsibilities

· Perform transaction reviews through listening to voicelogs and examining documents

· Escalate possible breaches / issues noted for discussion

· Perform basis data analysis to support reporting activities

· Support root cause analysis and review

· Record meeting minutes and draft issue summaries

Experience / Exposure

· Experience in Private Bank / Wealth Management is preferred but not compulsory

· Strong understanding of MS Office tools (Excel,Powerpoint,Word)

· Experience on VB Scripting, Tableau, Xceptor, Alteryx and Robotics Automation tools preferred

· Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical skills

· Open minded, able to share information, knowledge and expertise with peers and team members

Key Competencies

· Due to the need to review logs recording for Hong Kong clients, applicants need to be proficient in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

· Ability to get up to speed quickly with new or unfamiliar subject matter

· A strong sense of ownership and responsibility, able to deliver against deadlines

· Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is preferred
