Senior Virtualization Engineer (VMware/vSphere) (Weekends, Shifts) #IKR

Responsibilities:

Design, deploy, and administer enterprise-scale virtual infrastructure utilizing VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter Server to ensure system availability.

Develop and execute automation scripts using PowerShell/PowerCLI and Python to streamline infrastructure provisioning, compliance patching, and lifecycle operations.

Perform advanced troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and performance tuning across complex computing, storage, and networking layers.

Drive infrastructure modernization initiatives by integrating containerization platforms like Red Hat OpenShift and maintaining technical operations documentation.

Key Requirements:

✅ 10+ years of overall IT experience

✅ 3-5 years of hands-on experience in VMware Virtualization (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter)

✅ Strong experience invirtualization administration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization

✅ Automation and scripting expertise using PowerShell and/or Python

✅ Experience supporting enterprise-scale virtual infrastructure environments

✅ Knowledge of storage,networking, and infrastructure operations

Nice to Have:

✅ Exposure to Red Hat OpenShift or container platforms

✅ Experience with infrastructure automation and modernization initiatives
