Hospital Support Officer ( Vehicle Attendant ) (4 hours per day)

Scope of Services

The Vehicle Attendant will accompany the driver and be responsible for:

• Assisting elderly clients with safe boarding and alighting of vehicles.
• Escorting clients between the vehicle and senior care centre or designated drop-off point when required.
• Assisting with the securing of wheelchairs and mobility aids.
• Supervising clients during transportation to ensure their safety and wellbeing.
• Monitoring and reporting any safety or welfare concerns.
• Communicating with clients in a patient, respectful and caring manner.
• Supporting the driver and centre staff to ensure smooth transport operations.
• Complying with all relevant safety procedures and instructions.

Personnel Requirements

• No prior experience required; training may be provided.
• Able to understand, speak and read simple English.
• Responsible, reliable and safety-conscious.
• Able to communicate effectively and patiently with elderly persons.
• Physically capable of assisting clients during boarding and alighting.
• Experience in elderly care, healthcare, social care or customer service is an advantage.

Working Schedule

• Duty Days: Weekdays (excluding Public Holidays)
• Duty Hours: 9:45am to 2:45pm (inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)
