Job Summary
The Senior WAG Gymnastics Coach will lead and develop the mid-levels Gymnastics pathway at The Yard, ensuring technical excellence, athlete welfare, and long-term development while fostering strong collaboration among coaches, athletes, parents, and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Mentor and develop mid-level WAG gymnasts to enhance their technical skills and competitive performance
- Establish and maintain a culture focused on technical excellence, athlete welfare, and sustainable athlete development
- Facilitate clear communication and collaboration between coaches, athletes, parents, and the competitive leadership team to support athlete progress
- Identify and evaluate talent within the recreational program to support athlete advancement
- Collaborate with marketing and membership teams to promote The Yard as a regional centre of excellence for WAG gymnastics
- Drive initiatives to increase participation and retention across all levels of the gymnastics pathway
