Videographer / Producer

As a Intern Videographer at AMshots, you will be responsible for assistance with capturing and helping produce high-quality video content across a variety of client projects, including automotive shoots, brand commercials, event coverage, and short-form social media content. You will work closely with the production and creative team from planning through to final delivery.

Key responsibilities include

• Operating camera and video equipment on-site to film client shoots, events, and short-form content (reels/TikToks)
• Assisting in pre-production planning, including scripting, storyboarding, shot lists, and logistics coordination
• Setting up lighting, audio, and camera gear to ensure professional-quality footage
• Directing subjects/talent on-site to capture engaging, on-brand content
• Collaborating with editors to ensure footage meets creative direction and client requirements
• Basic video editing support (cutting, color grading, adding music/effects) where required
• Managing and organizing raw footage and project files
• Staying updated on social media trends (especially short-form video) to bring fresh ideas to shoots
• Traveling to various client locations (studio and external shoots) as needed

Requirements

• Prior experience in videography, film production, or a related field (freelance or portfolio work accepted)
• Proficient with camera equipment (DSLR/mirrorless/cinema cameras), gimbals, lighting, and audio gear
• Basic to intermediate video editing skills (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, or similar) is a plus
• Strong eye for composition, storytelling, and detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team on tight timelines
• Comfortable directing talent/clients on set
• Passion for content trends across Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms
• Portfolio or reel of previous work required
