Job Description
• Manage the approval process for curriculum changes and new course proposals for undergraduate programmes, ensuring submissions are complete, duly endorsed and routed in accordance with University approval protocols.
• Advise Schools on curriculum approval requirements, approving authorities, submission timelines and documentation requirements, and follow up on discrepancies, risks or missing information.
• Manage and update programme information, curricula requirements, course details, academic unit requirements, prerequisites and restrictions in academic systems.
• Oversee and coordinate the collation, verification and publication of academic unit requirements for each programme and cohort on the University website.
• Administer students’ enrolment records in specialisations and pathways, including minors, second majors and work-study degree pathways, and coordinate exception cases or outstanding matters with Schools and internal teams.
• Support system configuration for the award of specialisations and pathways at graduation, and maintain related application records and outcomes.
• Support Student Management System development and enhancement work, process improvements and OAS/University-level projects as assigned, including reviewing business specifications, preparing test scenarios, assisting with system testing and coordinating with stakeholders where required.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• At least 3 to 5 years’ experience in academic services, student services, programme administration or related administrative functions, preferably in tertiary education.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail in maintaining accurate records and information.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with sound judgement in handling discrepancies, documentation gaps and non-standard cases.
• Good stakeholder management and interpersonal skills to engage Schools, internal teams and relevant stakeholders.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain operational or policy requirements clearly.
• Customer-oriented mindset, with a commitment to responsive and high-quality service.
