Non-Functional Test Engineer – Performance & Load Testing

Key Responsibilities

* Design, write, and execute test cases for performance, load, stress, scalability, and reliability testing.

* Execute non-functional testing manually and using automation tools to ensure systems meet non-functional requirements and standards.

* Perform REST API, IBM MQ, and GUI performance testing.

* Conduct load testing and resiliency/failover testing.

* Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on system performance and reliability.

* Develop and use scripts to execute tests and collect performance metrics.

* Collaborate with various teams to facilitate testing activities and resolve performance-related issues.

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

* 3+ years of relevant experience as a Non-Functional Tester / Performance Test Engineer.

* Hands-on experience in REST API, IBM MQ, GUI performance testing, load testing, and resiliency/failover testing.

* Scripting experience with Bash, Perl, or Python.

* Strong experience working on UNIX/Linux platforms.

* Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

* Knowledge of financial markets products such as Indices, Equities, Commodities, FX, and Fixed Income is an added advantage.
