Vessel Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities for assigned vessels.
• Process and review portage bill and crew-related accounting transactions.
• Prepare funding requests for vessel owners and follow up on incoming funds.
• Compile complete vessel accounting reports together with the relevant supporting documents.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure reports are completed accurately and within the required timelines.
• Review vessel reports, identify discrepancies and respond to queries raised by vessel owners.
• Assist with the reconciliation of intercompany and vessel-related balances.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
