Service Centre Team Lead (Dry Gas Seal)

Our client is a global engineering powerhouse specializing in mission-critical flow control and industrial equipment solutions for the energy sector. We are partnering with them to recruit an experienced technical leader to oversee their dynamic service center operations.

The Role

Stepping into this leadership role, you will drive the end-to-end refurbishment, assembly, and testing processes for Dry Gas Seals (DGS). You will act as the technical anchor for your facility, ensuring workflow efficiency, upholding quality standards, and delivering world-class engineering support to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and mentor the service center team, overseeing daily DGS planning, assembly, and testing workflows.

• Uphold stringent quality control and safety standards across all repair and refurbishment processes.

• Act as the technical subject matter expert to troubleshoot seal assembly issues, evaluate test failures, and conduct virtual performance tests with customers.

• Train personnel on face calibration software, DGS operations, and advanced testing principles.

• Manage equipment calibration, review and approve inspection reports, and evaluate technical drawings for process upgrades.

• Drive continuous improvement (CI) initiatives and provide crucial site support during critical technical emergencies.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering or a related technical discipline.

• Engineering experience within a multinational manufacturing or service environment.

• Proven team leadership and excellent people management capabilities.

• Solid technical background, ideally with knowledge of mechanical seals, lapping, and polishing processes.

• Working knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP.

• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to write concise, professional technical reports.
