Project Assistant (Events) – 3-Month Contract

The Role
Tribbe is looking for reliable and hands-on Project Assistants to support the planning and delivery of large-scale events.
You will assist with project coordination, event preparation and on-site execution. Depending on your strengths and project needs, your main responsibilities may focus on registration and participant services, marketing, or partnerships.
This role suits someone who enjoys working with people, is organised and willing to get involved in the practical work behind an event.
What You Will Be Doing
Project Coordination & Team Support
Support the project team with day-to-day coordination, administrative tasks and follow-ups.
Update project trackers, contact lists and event documents.
Coordinate with internal teams, vendors and other event stakeholders on assigned tasks.
Support Within Your Assigned Area
Registration: Handle participant enquiries, maintain registration records and assist with race pack collection and check-in.
Marketing: Help prepare and check event communications, coordinate content and materials, and support promotional activities.
Partnerships: Assist with partner correspondence, track agreed deliverables, and coordinate materials and on-site arrangements.
Your main focus will be assigned according to your experience and project requirements, with support across other areas when needed.
Event Preparation & On-Site Support
Prepare, pack and organise event materials and participant items.
Assist during event setup, event days and teardown.
Support participant guidance, activity areas, partner booths or other assigned event functions.
Handle routine enquiries and flag issues promptly to the relevant team lead.
Assist with post-event reconciliation, reporting and administrative follow-up.
What We Are Looking For
Able to commit full-time from October to December 2026.
Organised, dependable and attentive to detail.
Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Able to follow through on assigned tasks and keep the team updated.
Willing to learn, ask questions and work closely with different teams.
Comfortable with hands-on preparation and on-site work, including outdoor events.
Available for selected weekends, early starts and longer hours during event periods.
Previous experience in events, administration, customer service, marketing or partnership support is helpful but not essential. Please indicate any relevant experience or preferred area of work in your application.
