Job Descriptions:
Plan, schedule, and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for electrical and instrumentation systems.
Perform installation, testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of plant equipment and field instruments (flow, pressure, temperature, level transmitters, analyzers).
Ensure high availability and reliability of E&I equipment in the process plant including wastewater treatment, SBR and oil recycling facilities.
Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and implements corrective actions.
Program, maintain, and troubleshoot PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems (advantage preferred: Siemens PLC and WinCC platforms, ignition Scada system).
Modify and optimize control logic, system graphics, and automation functions to improve plant safety, efficiency, and productivity.
Integrate PLC, SCADA, BMS, and subsystem packages with plant systems and enterprise applications.
Maintain system software, firmware updates, backups, and domain security controls. Design and implement electrical and instrumentation modifications for plant improvement projects.
Prepare engineering documentation including P&ID drawings, loop diagrams, single line diagrams, wiring diagrams, equipment datasheets, and technical proposals.
Support automation and digitalization initiatives aligned with Industry 4.0 transformation, MQTT protocol.
Define scope and support implementation of automation and control system upgrades.
Supervise and guide E&I technicians in daily maintenance activities.
Provide technical training and support for plant operators on new or modified systems.
Provide remote troubleshooting and support for subsidiary facilities when required.
Support procurement activities by providing technical specifications and equipment recommendations.
Maintain maintenance records, calibration reports, and system documentation in the maintenance management system.
Monitor alarm management, system performance, and operational data through SCADA and LIMS systems.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, change management procedures (MOC), and standard operating procedures.
Manage spare parts inventory for critical E&I equipment and control system spares
Monitor maintenance expenses and recommend cost-effective solutions.
Requirements:
At least Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Instrumentation Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance in industrial or process plant environments.
Experience in instrument calibration, commissioning, and troubleshooting (such as Pressure/Flow/Temperature/Level/online Analysers).
Able to analyse and troubleshoot HART/TREX protocol instruments.
Experience in electrical equipment maintenance
Proficient knowledge on Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
