Job Description:

• Learn and develop a wide range of culinary skills through hands-on kitchen experience, applying techniques and procedures in daily operations.
• Receive constructive feedback positively and carry out instructions effectively while maintaining a professional attitude.
• Perform basic food preparation, cooking, and service tasks as assigned, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation at all times.
• Prepare appetizers, meats, vegetables, and other ingredients for à la carte and buffet service, while assisting with the proper plating and presentation of dishes.
• Assist in the preparation and execution of orders.
• Observe, taste, and monitor food during preparation and cooking to ensure quality standards are met; sample food as required.
• Operate cooking equipment safely and efficiently, including controlling temperatures and preparing simple hot food items.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic work area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment, utensils, and tools are properly handled, cleaned, and maintained.
• Assist senior chefs with opening and closing kitchen operations, including food storage, stock organization, and end-of-day procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to support smooth daily operations and deliver an excellent dining experience for guests.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food presentation.
• Knowledge of food sanitation and hygiene practices.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment and manage multiple tasks during peak service periods.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
• Good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
