Sales Manager | Design & Build | Events, Exhibitions & Fit-Out
About this job
- Identify, develop and pursue new business opportunities across key sectors, including events, exhibitions, retail fit-outs and brand activations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders and industry partners to drive repeat business and long-term partnerships
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and client engagement to proposal development, negotiation and successful closure
- Understand client briefs and requirements, and work closely with internal teams to develop suitable and commercially viable solutions
- Lead proposal development, pricing and commercial negotiations, and collaborate with internal teams for sales presentations and pitches
- Respond to client briefs, RFQs and tenders in a timely and strategic manner
- Translate client requirements into clear project briefs for internal teams, ensuring alignment on expectations, budget and project feasibility
- Work closely with Project Management and production teams to ensure a smooth handover of secured projects
- Maintain accurate sales records, pipelines and activity reports to monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Represent the company at networking events, industry exhibitions and client meetings to strengthen market presence and develop new opportunities
- Establish and improve sales processes, tools and reporting to support business growth
- Work closely with management on sales forecasting, business planning, targets, KPIs and overall sales strategy
- Lead, coach and mentor the sales team to achieve individual and team targets
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Business, Marketing or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of relevant sales or business development experience, preferably within the design & build, events, exhibitions, interior fit-out or brand activation industry
- Proven experience managing B2B clients and the full sales cycle from business development to project closure
- Strong understanding of materials, fabrication processes and project cost structures
- Good commercial awareness with strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Able to understand client requirements and work closely with design, production and project teams to develop practical solutions
- Strong communication, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
