Job Summary

We seek a highly skilled Architectural Technical Lead with 15+ years in architectural design, design management, and project delivery for infrastructure fit-out and newbuild projects. You will provide technical leadership and collaborate across teams to deliver architectural solutions for data centers and critical infrastructure in APAC.

Responsibilities

  • Review architectural engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and development plans to ensure compliance with project requirements, standards, and industry best practices
  • Act as the primary architectural representative and client liaison, collaborating with internal teams, clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders throughout project lifecycles
  • Monitor design and construction progress to ensure adherence to approved architectural designs, project specifications, codes, and regulatory requirements
  • Identify design, coordination, and construction issues early and recommend practical solutions to mitigate risks, delays, and cost impacts
  • Oversee compliance with local building regulations, planning requirements, environmental standards, and project-specific design criteria
  • Review, comment on, and approve architectural documentation including drawings, reports, technical submissions, specifications, and design packages
  • Provide technical leadership and engineering recommendations to support decision-making and resolve complex design challenges
  • Facilitate communication and coordination among multidisciplinary teams including CSA, Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, EHS, Security, and external stakeholders
  • Support design review meetings and contribute to optimizing design solutions, constructability, and project outcomes
  • Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and vendors to align with project objectives, quality standards, and client requirements
  • Contribute to developing and improving quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) processes and procedures
  • Escalate critical design and construction issues impacting scope, cost, quality, or schedule and support timely resolution through coordination
  • Support technical reviews to identify design optimization, value engineering, and improved project delivery opportunities
  • Maintain records of design changes, issues, and decisions, evaluating impacts on cost, schedule, and quality
  • Ensure timely review, closure, and documentation of project deliverables and outstanding technical issues
  • Support preparation and maintenance of project documentation, including revision control, document tracking, and final records management

Required competencies and certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Building Design, or related field
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in architectural design, design management, and project delivery for newbuild or infrastructure fit-out projects
  • Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, building codes, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
  • Proficiency in architectural design and coordination software including AutoCAD, Revit, BIM360, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), and related collaboration platforms
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams and managing complex stakeholder relationships
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, design coordination, building systems integration, and constructability reviews
  • Excellent project management skills to prioritize activities, manage multiple deliverables, and meet schedule constraints
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical review skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and cross-functional teams
  • Full fluency in English and eligibility to work in Singapore

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Professional Architect registration, Chartered status, or equivalent professional accreditation
  • Familiarity with mission-critical facilities, data centers, or large-scale infrastructure projects
