Job Summary

Lead engineering excellence and portfolio transformation across Asia Pacific for a top global industrial company. Collaborate globally to develop strategy, manage complex assets, and drive operational and talent development initiatives in diverse critical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Global Engineering Lead to develop and implement a rolling Engineering Operations and Maintenance strategy focused on tech-enabled dynamic maintenance across Asia Pacific.
• Develop and execute a strategic roadmap to upgrade engineering talent capabilities supporting next-generation engineering services.
• Shape and align global engineering standards and enterprise-wide strategies to regional operations.
• Lead engineering operations across a corporate real estate portfolio ensuring operational excellence.
• Define, deploy, and continuously improve service delivery standards for engineering products incorporating operational feedback.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements across the Asia Pacific portfolio.
• Drive Engineering Risk Management and Statutory Compliance in partnership with Quality Control and HSSE teams.
• Manage all resources directly involved in delivering Engineering Services to meet productivity and quality targets.
• Deploy and enforce standard operating procedures to maintain consistent engineering service delivery.
• Support account leadership teams in achieving productivity and operational goals.
• Lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary engineering teams to enhance performance and capability.
• Manage senior stakeholder relationships including client C-suite, functional leaders, and JLL global leadership to align engineering initiatives with business objectives.
• Lead executive business reviews, strategic planning sessions, and crisis management activities.
• Act as escalation point for critical incidents, leading root cause analysis and remediation efforts.
• Leverage JLL Engineering Operations, Product, and Global Operations expertise to drive continuous improvement and best-in-class engineering approaches.
• Champion adoption of next-generation technologies to enhance engineering service delivery.
• Actively participate in Regional and Global JLL Engineering communities to share knowledge and drive innovation.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial) or equivalent.
• Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration preferred.
• Professional Engineer license or certifications such as PMP, LEED AP, CFPS, CEM, CMRP, Six Sigma Black Belt advantageous.
• Experience managing engineering operations across multiple countries or large geographic regions, preferably in Asia Pacific.
• Proven success in matrixed global organizations with cross-regional coordination and virtual team leadership.
• Experience leading operational transformations and change management initiatives.
• Commercial acumen and risk management experience in high-consequence environments.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated leadership presence with ability to inspire teams and influence senior stakeholders.
