Project Engineer

• Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project
• Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
• Obtain permit and licenses from appropriate authorities
• Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations.
• Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
• Acquire equipment and materials and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies
• Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed
• Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
• Materials quantity take off , Drafting works if necessary

Job Requirements:

• Minimum experience of 3 years as engineer in construction
• In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles
• Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
• Outstanding communications and negotiation skills
• Able to use Microsoft office , microsoft project , autocad , revit , naviswork and other engineering softwares skillfully.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• A team player with leadership abilities
• Advances time management and analytical skills
• Excellent client-facing communication skills
• Candidate must possess at least BSc/BA in Engineering Civil) or Engineering (Metal Fabrication/Tool & Welding) or relevant field (Degree is recognized by BCA will be an advantage)
