QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Job Description:

· Report to the Project Director.

· Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts for construction projects.

· Draft, review, and manage contracts between clients, contractors, and suppliers.

· Prepare tender documents, evaluate bids, and advise on contractor selection.

· Track project costs, monitor progress, and assess the financial impact of design or scope changes.

· Monitor and control material wastage.

· Conduct interim valuations, certify payments to contractors, and manage final accounts.

· Identify financial risks and propose strategies to mitigate them.

· Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Immediate Management.

Job Requirement:

• Depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles
• Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
• Outstanding communications and negotiation skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• A team player with leadership abilities
• Advances time management and analytical skills
• Excellent client-facing communication skills
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Building, or Engineering.
• Experience in the construction industry.
• 5 years' experience in procurement of construction projects and/or building variation works. (Metal Works)
