MEP Quantity Surveyor (Residential)

About the role

This role involves preparing detailed cost estimates for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) projects, analyzing project specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and associated costs, and performing quantity take-offs for materials and labour required for MEP installations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for MEP projects

• Analyze and evaluate project specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and associated costs

• Perform quantity take-offs for materials and labour required for MEP installations

• Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and comprehensive quantity assessments

• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control throughout the project lifecycle

• Monitor and report on cost variations, providing recommendations for cost-saving measures

• Assist in the preparation of tender documents and participate in the procurement process

• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids, ensuring competitiveness and adherence to project requirements

• Administer and manage contracts related to MEP works, including variations and claims

• Generate regular cost reports to keep stakeholders informed of project financial status

About you

• Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying / Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University

• Minimum 5 years of related working experiences in industrial, commercial or data-centre projects

• Good working knowledge in Mechanical and Electrical
