Part-Time/ Freelance Maths Tutor

Century Education Group is looking for Mathematics Tutors (freelance/ part-time) to work with students from local and international schools. We cater to students aged between 6 to 18 years. We handle all direct contact with parents/caregivers throughout the duration of the tutoring assignments so there is less pressure on our tutors. Hourly rates vary from $45 to $110 depending on the student's grade as well as the tutor's qualifications. We do not charge agency fees.

Job Description :

• Conduct 1 to 1 math tuition for primary/ secondary/ JC/ international school students.
• Prepare and customise lesson materials to the needs of the student.
• Build exam strategies and facilitate focused learning.
• Review and mark assignments.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback after each class.
• Assess students regularly according to requirements of the curriculum.
• Write term progress reports as required.
• Maintain punctuality and professionalism.

Job Requirements :

• Strong academic background in mathematics.
• Responsible, patient and passionate about teaching.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Prior teaching or tutoring experience preferred
• Familiarity with the MOE syllabus is an advantage
