Field Service Engineer (Industrial Equipment)

Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site technical support, including equipment installation, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
• Respond to and resolve customer technical issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimise downtime.
• Support equipment acceptance and commissioning activities at customer sites.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand customer requirements and deliver suitable technical solutions.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Assist in planning and executing field service projects, ensuring timely completion and compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with regional and overseas technical teams to deliver high-quality technical support and services.
• Prepare and submit accurate service reports, maintenance records, and related documentation.
• Provide operational guidance and basic technical training to customers when required.
• Work in cleanroom, manufacturing, and industrial environments while adhering to all safety regulations and company procedures.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience as an Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Field Service Engineer, or in a similar technical role.
• Ability to work independently and proactively seek support when required.
• Customer-focused with strong service orientation, flexibility, and patience.
• Experience in troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial or large-scale machinery.
• Possession of an N3 Laser Licence/Certification is an added advantage.
• Experience in the semiconductor, printed circuit board (PCB), or packaging substrate industry is an added advantage.
