Sales Manager (Marine Lifeboat)

Responsibilities

• Develop new sales opportunities in Singapore and selected APAC markets.
• Build and maintain relationships with shipowners, shipyards, offshore companies, EPC contractors, consultants and distributors.
• Manage the sales process from finding new customers and understanding their needs to preparing quotations, negotiations and closing deals.
• Promote marine equipment and handling solutions to existing and new customers.
• Work with technical and engineering teams to recommend suitable solutions based on customer requirements.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and tender documents.
• Handle customer meetings, technical discussions and commercial negotiations.
• Keep track of sales opportunities, forecasts and customer activities through CRM.
• Monitor market trends, competitors and new business opportunities.
• Work with the project team after a successful sale to ensure a smooth handover.

Requirements

• Experience in technical sales, project sales, business development or a similar customer-facing role.
• Marine, offshore or shipbuilding experience is an advantage.
• Experience with quotations, tenders or project sales is preferred.
• Good communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
