Role Overview

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist who is passionate about enhancing the quality of life for seniors. In this role, you will help clients maintain or regain independence in their daily activities, enabling them to live purposeful, fulfilling lives. The primary goal is to add vibrancy to their senior years, supporting their physical and cognitive recovery after illness or surgery so they can reclaim their functional independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and occupational needs of clients to design targeted, evidence-based intervention plans.
  • Support clients in participating fully and meaningfully within their living environments.
  • Conduct structured training and educational sessions for caregivers and family members.
  • Prescribe necessary mobility aids or assistive devices, including personalized motorized equipment.
  • Perform home environment assessments and recommend adjustments or modifications to ensure safety and accessibility.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical research, and cross-functional projects, while conducting training for fellow therapists, support staff, and healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain strict compliance with clinical protocols and institutional service standards.

Requirements

  • Possess a recognized Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Thrive in a dynamic, collaborative, and fast-paced team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal communication, excellent problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in Google Suite applications.

Preferred Attributes

  • Flexibility and willingness to travel to various center locations for work.
  • Comfortable operating effectively within multidisciplinary healthcare settings.
