Job Summary
The Head of Mission Support oversees the effective and efficient operations of the Mission Support Department, encompassing Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology (IT), community partnerships including donor and volunteer management, facilities and infrastructure management, and digital transformation initiatives.
Reporting to the Chief Executive, the role ensures strong governance, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and administrative effectiveness to support the mission and service delivery of Marymount Centre. The role also supports the mission of Marymount Centre by upholding the dignity and rights of persons served, while empowering residents and staff to build hope and transform lives.
Responsibilities
- Align organisational operations with Marymount Centre’s mission, vision, and values in accordance with the Good Shepherd Mission
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies, MSF guidelines, statutory and regulatory requirements, governance standards, workplace safety, and operational procedures
- Lead financial planning and budgeting to manage funding, subsidies, donations, and organisational resources effectively
- Review and enhance governance frameworks, policies, systems, and processes to meet evolving regulatory and organisational needs
- Manage HR functions including manpower planning, recruitment, staff supervision, performance management, training, professional development, succession planning, staff well-being, and compensation review with HR Sub-Committee approval as needed
- Foster professional conduct, discipline, and positive relationships among staff, volunteers, and residents
- Oversee IT systems, digitalisation initiatives, infrastructure projects, and facilities management including cyclical maintenance, CCTV, and door access/security systems to ensure safe and efficient operations
- Maintain accurate documentation, record-keeping, and timely reporting to Management, MSF, and other stakeholders
- Develop and implement communication strategies to raise awareness of Marymount Centre’s services through media platforms
- Represent Marymount Centre in engagements with external agencies, statutory bodies, partners, service providers, and the Board of Directors to strengthen collaboration and improve service outcomes
