WAITER

Waiter Supervisor / Restaurant Service Supervisor typically oversees the service team and ensures smooth daily restaurant operations.

Key Job Roles & Responsibilities:

* Supervise and coordinate waiters/waitresses during daily operations.

* Assign duties, sections, and work schedules to service staff.

* Ensure customers are greeted promptly and receive professional service.

* Take customer orders and assist with food and beverage service when required.

* Monitor service quality, cleanliness, hygiene, and restaurant presentation.

* Handle customer enquiries, feedback, complaints, and special requests.

* Train and guide new service staff on service standards and restaurant procedures.

* Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared and served accurately and promptly.

* Ensure tables are properly set up, cleared, and prepared for incoming customers.

* Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, grooming, and work performance.

* Assist with opening and closing procedures, including checking restaurant readiness.

* Monitor stock levels of service items such as utensils, glassware, napkins, and condiments.

* Ensure compliance with food hygiene, workplace safety, and company policies.

* Assist management with daily operational matters and report any service or staffing issues.

* Perform other duties assigned by the Restaurant Manager or management.
