Robotics Assistant Business Development Manager***
About this job
This will be a 1-year renewable contract based in Jurong.
Responsibilities
- Management of a portfolio of member accounts and industry partners
- Point of contact, timely follow-ups and relationship continuity for assigned accounts
- Monitor account activities, engagement levels, and membership status
- Coordination with industry partners, research collaborators, and ecosystem stakeholders
- Partnership development and identify opportunities for engagement
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to align partner needs with project capabilities
- Responsible for ROS I events (consortium meetings, workshops, and industry showcases)
- Assist large-scale events such as summits and advisory committee meetings
- Facilitate logistics, participant engagement, and post-event follow-ups
- Planning and delivery of ROS-related training programmes and workshops
- Coordinator for trainers, partners, and participants to ensure smooth execution
- Monitor training participation and feedback for continuous improvement
- Develop presentations, reports, and marketing materials
- Create clear and compelling written content (proposals, briefing notes, and outreach communications)
- Promoting ROS I initiatives across different platforms and events
- Translate technical concepts into accessible content for industry audiences
- Documentation of accurate records of accounts, activities, and event outcomes
- Generate reports, dashboards, and presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders
- Assist in proposals, onboarding documentation, and membership processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline
- Experience in
- Business development, account management, programme coordination, or marketing support
- Robotics, manufacturing, or technology sectors
- Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) to prepare high-quality presentations and reports
- Stakeholder management and communication skills
- Excellent in
- Writing skillsin preparing clear, structured, and engaging content
- Organisational and coordination abilities
- Attention to detail
- Managing multiple workstreams across accounts, events, and programmes
Advantageous
- Have an interest or experience in robotics, ROS, or automation ecosystems
- Able to industry events, training programmes, or ecosystem-building initiatives
- Working experience in a cross-functional and multicultural environment
- Adept in storytelling and translating technical content into impactful presentations and marketing materials
