Introduction
The Director, Infrastructure & Technology Architecture will provide senior technical leadership across complex security and automation solutions. This is a strategic role with responsibility for technology direction, solution architecture, engineering governance, and delivery of large-scale projects. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering teams, senior leadership, customers, and technology partners to develop secure, scalable, and commercially sound solutions.
Responsibilities
As a senior technical authority, you will define technology roadmaps and end-to-end solution architectures while establishing engineering standards, reference architectures, and governance frameworks. You will lead technical and design reviews for strategic projects and tenders, oversee complex or mission-critical deliveries, and provide direction on technical risks and escalations. Key areas will include IT/OT integration, cybersecurity and security-by-design, infrastructure resilience, system performance, and the evaluation and adoption of new technologies.
You will also play an important role in pre-sales and customer engagements, shaping solutions for complex opportunities and presenting technical recommendations to senior stakeholders. In addition, you will mentor architects, technical leads, and senior engineers, strengthen engineering capabilities, and work with cross-functional teams to improve standardization, quality, cost effectiveness, and technical performance.
Requirements
You will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline, together with substantial experience in security systems, automation, or large-scale systems integration. You should have a strong track record of providing technical leadership across complex, multidisciplinary programs and translating business and customer requirements into robust technical solutions.
Relevant expertise should span several areas such as physical security platforms, infrastructure and networking, cloud and data platforms, cybersecurity, and systems integration. You will also need strong technical judgment and the ability to engage effectively with all levels of stakeholders. Experience leading technical delivery within large-scale or mission-critical environments will be highly relevant.
