Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of enterprise software applications.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Develop and execute unit tests using appropriate testing frameworks.
• Perform system integration testing and troubleshoot application issues.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and defect resolution.
• Assist with application deployment, release, and change management activities.
• Support system audits, vulnerability assessments, and security testing initiatives.
• Create, update, and maintain technical and system documentation.
• Collaborate with team members using Agile and modern software development methodologies.
• Learn and apply emerging technologies, including cloud platforms and AI-assisted software development tools.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who:

• Hold a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or have graduated in 2024, 2025, or 2026.
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Have foundational knowledge of Java programming.
• Have basic knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Have exposure to cloud technologies and platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• Have an understanding of CI/CD concepts and modern software development practices.
• Demonstrate an interest in AI-driven software development and emerging technologies.
• Are adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Have a strong willingness to learn new technologies and technical skills.
• Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
• Can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

GRIT Programme Eligibility

All trainees must fulfil the following criteria:

• Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident.
• Graduated in 2024, 2025, or 2026 from a University, Polytechnic, Institute of Technical Education (ITE), or other educational institution.
• Able to commit to a minimum traineeship duration of 6 months.
• Not currently enrolled in or participating in another full-time traineeship, employment, or government-funded training programme during the traineeship period.
