Finance Manager (Operations)

Working Location: Based in Great World City (GWC) but required to travel to Shipyard at 5 Jalan Samulun (2-3 times weekly)

Working hours in the shipyard: 7.30am to 5.00pm (transportation provided in the morning)

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of 4 or more
• Oversee the Accounts Payable function, including overseeing Malaysia shared service team and ensuring timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices, payments and reconciliations
• Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow position and working capital requirements
• Review cash flow forecasts and ensure adequate liquidity for operations
• Coordinate with management on cash planning and treasury-related activities
• Oversee the fixed assets register and ensure proper capitalization, depreciation, and disposal processes
• Liaise with auditors and tax agents
• Support ad-hoc projects
• Ad hoc assignment assigned.

Job Requirements

• Min 6-8 years of relevant accounting or finance experience, preferably in a regional or multinationalenvironment
• Proficient in MS Excel and Words
• Experience in managing a team
• Experience in SAP will be advantage
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, tax compliance, and internal controls
