Senior Analyst, Logistics Operations

We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Logistics Operations to join Capital Human Resource Management Pte. Ltd in the East Region. This is a full-time position offering a strategic opportunity to drive operational excellence and data-driven decision making within our logistics operations. As Senior Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analysing complex logistics data, identifying process improvements, and providing actionable insights that directly impact our operational efficiency and business performance. This position represents a key analytical function within our logistics team, where your expertise will influence strategic initiatives and enhance our competitive advantage in the manufacturing, transport and logistics sector.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse logistics operations data to identify trends, bottlenecks and inefficiencies across supply chain processes

• Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting dashboards and performance metrics to track key operational indicators

• Conduct root cause analysis on operational issues and recommend data-backed solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs

• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, translating complex logistics data into clear, actionable insights

• Collaborate with logistics, transport and warehouse teams to gather requirements and validate analytical findings

• Optimise logistics workflows by analysing historical data and forecasting demand patterns

• Monitor compliance with logistics standards and standard operating procedures, flagging deviations for corrective action

• Support continuous improvement initiatives through statistical analysis and process benchmarking

• Maintain data integrity and oversee the development of automated reporting systems

• Mentor junior analysts and support team capability development

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or related discipline

• Minimum 5 years' experience in logistics operations analysis, supply chain analytics or similar analytical role within the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry

• Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools and platforms such as SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI or similar business intelligence software

• Strong expertise in logistics and supply chain metrics, KPIs and performance management frameworks

• Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations for operational stakeholders

• Excellent problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to investigating operational challenges

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including advanced functions, pivot tables and data modelling

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly to diverse audiences

• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) software is highly valued

• Proven track record of driving process improvements and delivering measurable results

• Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively within a team environment
