Senior Accountant

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support the Finance team in managing the full spectrum of accounting and administrative matters. The candidate should be organised, willing to take on a variety of responsibilities, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance

• Handle the monthly full set of accounts for assigned entities.
• Prepare and post accounting journal entries.
• Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Process employee expense claims.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks and other external stakeholders as required.
• Support ad hoc finance projects and other accounting duties assigned.

Administration

• Manage the day-to-day office administration and ensure smooth office operations.
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, courier services and document dispatch.
• Arrange for the execution of corporate documents, including circulating documents for signature
• Prepare and complete bank account opening, closing and maintenance forms.
• Prepare listings, schedules and supporting documents required.

• Track filing deadlines and ensure timely submission of required documents.

Requirements

• Diploma, Finance or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience handling full sets of accounts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with accounting software is an advantage.
• Meticulous, responsible and able to meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working in a lean environment where flexibility is required.
