Accounts Assistant / Junior Accounts Executive

Applicants must have existing eligibility to work in Singapore. No work pass quota/sponsorship is available for this position.

Location: Bukit Merah

Work Week: 5-Day Week - 08:30am to 5:30pm

Salary: $2,800–$3,100 + AWS + Good Variable Bonus

An established trading company in Bukit Merah is looking for an Accounts Assistant / Junior Accounts Executive to support its day-to-day accounting operations.

What You Will Do

• Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Process supplier invoices, payments and customer receipts
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, debit notes and credit notes
• Perform bank reconciliations and assist with GL reconciliation
• Maintain inventory and stock records
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing
• Prepare accounting schedules and documents for audit/tax purposes
• Assist with GST-related accounting records
• Maintain proper filing of accounting and shipping documents
• Liaise with suppliers, customers and logistics providers when required
• Support accounting transactions and reports in USD

What We Are Looking For

• Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
• At least 1–2 years of hands-on accounting experience
• Practical experience in AP and/or AR
• Familiar with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Able to perform basic bank reconciliation
• Careful, organised and comfortable working with numbers
• Willing to learn and take on a broader accounting scope
• Able to communicate with suppliers, customers and internal colleagues
