Senior Claims Executive - Marine

We have partnered with an established international organisation within the marine insurance and maritime services sector to identify a Senior Claims Executive to join their Singapore team.

This is an excellent opportunity for claims professionals looking to further develop their expertise in marine insurance while working on a diverse portfolio of international claims and incidents.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing claims matters, coordinating with stakeholders across the maritime industry and supporting clients through the claims process from initial notification through to resolution.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of Hull and Machinery and P&I insurance claims from notification through to settlement.
• Investigate claims circumstances and review supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with external parties including surveyors, lawyers, technical experts and other stakeholders.
• Prepare claim updates, reports and recommendations for clients.
• Monitor claims progress and ensure matters are handled efficiently and professionally.
• Participate in settlement discussions and negotiations where required.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the claims lifecycle.
• Build strong relationships with clients and industry stakeholders.
  

Requirements

• Experience handling Hull and Machinery (H&M) and/or Protection and Indemnity (P&I) claims would be highly advantageous.
• Candidates with marine loss adjusting experience are also encouraged to apply.
• Strong insurance claims professionals from other disciplines may be considered.
