SAP S4 FICO Consultant Public Cloud

We are seeking an experienced and certified SAP S/4HANA FICO Consultant specializing in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition to lead and support end-to-end financial digital transformations.

In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to key finance stakeholders, guiding them through the Fit-to-Standard delivery model using the SAP Activate methodology. You will be responsible for mapping core financial processes (Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash) to standard SAP SaaS best practices, executing system configurations via Central Business Configuration (CBC), managing data migration, and integrating backend finance with third-party systems or external banks.

• Lead Discovery and Exploration workshops with business stakeholders to demonstrate pre-delivered SAP S/4HANA Cloud Best Practice business processes.

• Conduct Fit-to-Standard analysis to identify gaps, advocating for standardized SAP SaaS solutions over custom modifications to maintain a Clean Core.

• Design side-by-side extensibility options using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) or in-app custom fields/views when client requirements exceed standard capabilities.

• Configure core Financial Accounting (FI) modules: General Ledger (GL/Universal Journal), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (AA), Tax Management, and Bank/Cash Management.

• Configure Management Accounting (CO) modules: Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders, and Margin Analysis.

• Utilize SAP Central Business Configuration (CBC) and SAP Fiori Launchpad to perform system setups, organizational units, and posting controls.

Required Qualifications & Key Competencies

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or Information Technology (ACCA, CPA, or MBA is highly desirable).

• Proven hands-on implementation experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance projects (greenfield implementations, cloud rollouts, or major system upgrades).

• Strong domain understanding of financial accounting principles, statutory reporting, tax governance, and period-end close processes.

Certifications (Must Have / Preferred)

• Must-Have / Preferred: SAP Certified Associate / Specialist - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, Financial Accounting.

• Bonus: SAP Certified Associate - SAP Activate Project Manager or certifications in Management Accounting / Cloud Modeling.
