Assistant Executive Housekeeper

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Assistant Executive Housekeeper to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting the Executive Housekeeper in managing daily housekeeping operations, maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards, and driving team performance and development. You’ll play a key role in ensuring operational efficiency, enhancing guest satisfaction, and upholding the hotel’s service excellence standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Executive Housekeeper in the overall planning, organization, and supervision of housekeeping operations across the hotel.

• Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and guest satisfaction in accordance with LQA standards.

• Oversee daily cleaning operations of guest rooms and public areas to maintain quality and consistency.

• Develop and implement training programs, including on-the-job training, classroom sessions, and mentorship for team members.

• Monitor room inventory and coordinate with relevant departments to optimize room availability and revenue opportunities.

• Implement structured training plans and schedules to enhance staff competency and efficiency.

• Maintain clear communication and coordination with Front Office and other departments to ensure smooth operations.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices within the department.
  

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or related field.  

• Minimum 5-6 years of relevant experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a 5-star hotel.

• Familiarity with Opera / Opera Cloud systems and process management tools.

• Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on operational excellence and quality standards.
