Business Development & Sales Manager

Our client is expanding its commercial presence in Singapore and is seeking a commercially driven Business Development & Sales professional to develop new business across Singapore and APAC.

The role focuses on new customer acquisition, solution-based selling and market expansion, covering both technical equipment and digital solutions.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and develop new business opportunities across Singapore and APAC
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and customer engagement through solution presentation, proposal, negotiation and closing
• Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate technical and digital solutions
• Develop existing accounts and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
• Work closely with technical, engineering, product and operations teams to deliver customer solutions
• Monitor market trends, customer needs and competitor activities to identify new opportunities
• Maintain sales pipeline, forecasts and CRM records
• Support customer meetings, presentations, exhibitions and regional business development activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Science or related discipline
• Experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably in a technical or solution-selling environment
• Experience in pharmaceutical, life science, laboratory, medical, scientific or related industries is preferred
• Strong track record in new business development and customer acquisition
• Able to engage technical, scientific and business stakeholders and translate requirements into commercial solutions
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
• Independent, proactive and comfortable working in a growing regional business
