Investment Compliance SME (Aladdin Platform)

Key Responsibilities

• Code and validate rules, monitor and review their status, and perform user acceptance testing (UAT) in the Aladdin system.
• Translate investment restrictions and limits into plain English to facilitate automated rule coding.
• Understanding of Investment & Regulatory Compliance
• Hands on experience with rule coding and testing
• Understanding of mandates, ability to translate the compliance rules to plain English
• Prior experience in implementing compliance rules, transitioning of rules from one platform to another
• Prior Project Management/ BA experience preferred
• Understanding of SQL and ability to write queries using SQL
• Prior experience of rule coding on Bloomberg and Aladdin
• Ability to work in the fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
• Prior experience in stakeholder management and liaising with vendors
• Understanding of pre trade and post trade compliance, implications, and various categories of rule types, pre trade and post trade monitoring, generation of reports
• Review and reconcile the pre and post trade rules setup in the system and Governing Document

Preferred skills

• Compliance Rule Coding
• Understanding of Aladdin
• Familiarity with one or more of the following Data and Automation tools (i.e. PowerApps, PowerAutomate, PowerBI, Sharepoint)
• Familiarity with one or more of the following programming languages (i.e. SQL, Python, VBA).
• Vendor and stakeholder management
